Prof. Yu Ting

Prof. Yu Ting, professor of the School of Physical Science and Technology of Wuhan University, doctoral supervisor, candidate of the national talent project, chief scientist of the key special project of the National Key R&D Program “Nano Frontier”. Received a doctorate degree from the National University of Singapore in 2003, 2003-2005 Singapore Millennium postdoctoral fellow, joined Nanyang Technological University in 2005, was hired as a full professor (tenured position) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2017, and returned to China to join Wuhan University in 2020. Professor Yu Ting has long been engaged in the research and performance regulation of two-dimensional materials, as well as the application and development of new and efficient devices in microelectronics, optoelectronics, optical communication and electrochemical energy storage. In particular, he has done a lot of leading work in the fields of optical and optoelectronic properties of two-dimensional materials that can be used for new generation information communication and storage. He has published more than 300 SCI papers, which have been cited more than 30,000 times, with an H-factor of 97.
